Join us to give the gift of reading to children in Dominica
Dominica Service Project – July 2026
Join us in July 2026 for the Dominica Service Project, a meaningful service and cultural exchange opportunity hosted by The Leaders Readers Network. This project brings together educators, professors, students, and nature enthusiasts to make a positive impact in local communities while experiencing the beauty of the “Nature Island of the Caribbean.”
As a participant, you will play a key role in supporting teachers and students in Dominica. Together, we will provide professional development for local educators, distribute brand-new books to schools, and host a backpack giveaway for children in two villages. These efforts will directly contribute to implementing the Literacy Fellowship Project for the 2025–2026 school year, helping to improve literacy outcomes and promote equitable opportunities in education.
The trip includes opportunities to serve, learn, and connect with the people of Dominica while also exploring the island’s rich culture and natural beauty. Participants are responsible for covering travel costs, which include a $100 non-refundable deposit, airfare, and hotel fees. Estimated costs will vary depending on departure city and lodging preferences, but detailed guidance will be provided upon registration.
This experience is open to individuals who are passionate about education, service, and cultural exchange. Whether you are an educator, student, or simply someone eager to make a difference, this project offers a unique chance to contribute to lasting change while forming
